These games will still be released eventually however, there’s no specific date for either of them at the moment.Overwatch 2 is very much real and will be announced at Blizzcon after the short cinematic. Blizzard plans to have the games out by 2019.īlizzard’s online store added that the company would like to remind players that pre-ordering either of their games won’t result in a loss of abilities, perks, or any gameplay content. The company hopes this won’t affect any current pre-orders of these games, which are still being honored at the original price point. Diablo 4 was confirmed to include all previously released content for this new version of Diablo 4. A gameplay video was shown which showed new areas and changes to Diablo since its original launch in 2012. Further details on this new Diablo installment were released at BlizzCon 2018 during the opening ceremony of the event. In the same interview from Eurogamer, Stilwell revealed that Diablo 3 would be priced the same as and will not require players to pay for any additional content. In an interview with Eurogamer, the game’s lead producer, Pete Stilwell, stated that Diablo 4 will have a presence at BlizzCon 2018. This was followed by an interview done with Diablo co-creator David Brevik regarding the announcement at BlizzCon 2017. The company also released a four-minute teaser video confirming its development status during Gamescom 2017.

Game director Jeff Kaplan confirmed at BlizzCon 2017 that Blizzard has planned for Diablo 4 to release in 2019.
